2015 Woburn’s Awesome Teacher Tribute!

WCEF is pleased to announce the launch of our 2nd Annual Woburn’s Awesome Teacher Tribute.  Last year’s campaign was a great success, as it honored some wonderful Woburn educators and raised resources that were used to fund this year’s Educator Grants, which totaled more than $10,000.  Once again 100% of the money raised through this campaign will be used to fund grants directly to Woburn teachers.

WCEF’s Woburn’s Awesome Teacher Tribute invites any member of the community to make a donation to the Woburn Community Educational Foundation in honor of any current or former educator in the Woburn Public Schools.  Personalized tribute awards will be delivered by members of the WCEF board along with your tribute message.  The amount of your contribution is completely confidential.

To participate, simply complete a WCEF 2015 WATT Form and mail to WCEF as per the instructions.  Tribute donations can also be made directly online here.

The deadline to participate in this year’s Woburn’s Awesome Teacher Tribute is Friday, June 5, 2015.

Grant Deadline Extended!

Due to the February 2nd snow storm, the deadline for Grant Proposals has been extended to February 3, 2015.  Proposals are due by midnight.

Grant awards will be announced on March 16, 2015.

Presenting ARC

WCEF is fortunate to have the support of a small but growing group of volunteer activists, most of whom are recent alums of the Woburn Public Schools.  This is our Asset Resource Committee (ARC), whose members are working to engage their peers in activities which not only support WCEF but also inspire the next generation of Woburn leaders to give back to their community.

ARC will be producing fun events and representing WCEF at community events.  Want to join in the fun?  New members are always welcome – Contact us to get on board!

ARC’s first event is a Corn Hole Tournament, set for September 2014.  Check out our Fundraising page for more information and to download a Registration Form.
