Announcing Our 2015 Woburn’s Awesome Teachers!

This Year’s Woburn’s Awesome Teacher Tribute was a Wonderful Success!

On behalf of the 87 teachers who received heart-warming tribute messages and brag-worthy award certificates, WCEF wishes to thank our community for its support of our 2nd Annual Woburn’s Awesome Teacher Tribute.  This year’s campaign raised just over $2,200, all of which will be used to fund Educator Grants in 2016.

While these resources are important to help provide for new learning programs in our schools, it means so much to those honored with an Awesome Teacher Tribute to know that their hard work is noticed and appreciated and that their efforts make a difference every day.

Here are the 2015 Woburn’s Awesome Teachers, so honored by their current and former students and their families, as well as their colleagues, friends and community:

2015 Woburn's Awesome Teacher Honorees

2015 Woburn’s Awesome Teacher Tribute!

WCEF is pleased to announce the launch of our 2nd Annual Woburn’s Awesome Teacher Tribute.  Last year’s campaign was a great success, as it honored some wonderful Woburn educators and raised resources that were used to fund this year’s Educator Grants, which totaled more than $10,000.  Once again 100% of the money raised through this campaign will be used to fund grants directly to Woburn teachers.

WCEF’s Woburn’s Awesome Teacher Tribute invites any member of the community to make a donation to the Woburn Community Educational Foundation in honor of any current or former educator in the Woburn Public Schools.  Personalized tribute awards will be delivered by members of the WCEF board along with your tribute message.  The amount of your contribution is completely confidential.

To participate, simply complete a WCEF 2015 WATT Form and mail to WCEF as per the instructions.  Tribute donations can also be made directly online here.

The deadline to participate in this year’s Woburn’s Awesome Teacher Tribute is Friday, June 5, 2015.
